Light Experimentation

After seeing a video effect on Youtube that featured a in its design a series of randomly flashing lights, I became interested in how random the lights could appear to be. I began exploring the process to experiment for myself rather than watching a video. I found that the process was fairly complex and required a fair amount of effects to create one seemingly simple effect.


After the first simple experiment with the light panels in a straight line I learnt that the panels coulee be manipulated into various shapes. I decided to keep it simple and learn how to attach the lights to a path. In this case a simple circle. This involved a series of steps to keep the shape and proportions the same without disturbing the equilibrium of the overall look.
