Movie Posters
Here I have been working in my own time to develop my skills as a designer and minimalist illustrator. I have been drawing inspiration from various internet images related to the films I chose to represent with my illustration posters.
I chose to keep the images as simplistic as possible and convey the film with only the tittle and in some cases a quote from said film.
The idea to design and create these posters came to me by simple boredom I had been stagnant in my work for too long due to illness and felt the urge to create for the sake of creating. I do not yet have a plan as to how this personal project will progress, for the time being it is simply an outlet for my own creative work to flow.

Here is a poster created to represent the DC film 'Watchmen' based on an alternate reality in which superhero characters are feared and shunned yet still save lives and attempt to make the world a better place despite the hostile enviroment provided by the general public.
This poster in particular is inspired by the character 'Rorschach', portrayed as a psychotic killer with deep seated issues and a taste for violence, his violence and hate of criminal evil is directed towards stopping criminals with brutal and swift delliverance.
The text at the bottom of the page is a memorable line from the film as it not only starts the film with a voice narration by Rorschach himself but finally ends the film with the same line of text. At the top of the image is a list of the main cast as any film promo poster would have.
