Stephen Illustrator Trace Image Manipulation
During this session we experimented with tracing an image and overlaying it wil simple colors to create an almost cartoon, posterize effect to the image.
Here is the image before it was traced.
Here it is after being traced. As you can see it has a much more cartoonised, illustration feel to it.
I like this effect very much as it is a simple minimal design that is also nice to look at and has a very large degree of creative opertunity.
The amount of creative control is something I am very happy about. the ability to change colors quickly and to a strong effect is exciting. As wel as the manipulation of color varient and shape of individual sections.This process is relativly straight forward and fun to use I look forward to utalizing it in my future work.
